MEDIA DEALS runs surveys and does research on issues linked to private investment in the media sector.

Media Deals has carried out a survey on the issue: Private investment in the media in Europe. It aimed to analyse the market of private investment in the media sector in Europe and to better understand the expectations of equity investors investing in media companies.  

MEDIA DEALS partnered with Cineuropa.org for this survey and was granted support from the MEDIA Programme of the European Commission DG Information Society for this project.

The study thoroughly presents the actors in private equity in Europe and their involvement in the media convergence industry, as well as case studies and the key findings of the interviews we carried out with VCs and investment funds. To view the executive summary of the study, please click here
